Lev LaChayal is a program run by Yeshivat Lev HaTorah in Ramat Beit Shemesh. In 2007 Yeshivat Lev HaTorah spearheaded the development of a new community within Ramat Beit Shemesh, called Ramat Shilo, which is named after the yeshiva itself —- Shchunat Yeshivat Lev HaTorah. The yeshiva and the community have, since, been mutually supportive of each other. Our students help many of the communal needs and the community opens its doors to host boys regularly for Shabbatot and Chagim.

Ramat Shilo comprises 7 different congregations including Chassidic, Sephardic, and Ashkenazic styles, some belonging to the religious Zionist camp and others to the yeshivish community. Yet, all 7 of them work together with love and respect. There is one united chessed organization for the area, and many joint activities supported by all. Ramat Shilo has become a very special community modeling unity and respect for all.

The yeshiva has its own campus, which includes two floors of living quarters comprised of 8 apartments, a Beit Midrash facility, Kitchen and Dining Room, Weight Room, Music Room,Student Lounge, a yeshiva garden, and a full length Basketball Court. Within Ramat Beit Shemesh, minutes away from the yeshiva, there are parks, restaurants and eateries of all kinds, supermarkets, money changers, dry cleaners, and a full shopping center. The area is perfect for finding community support, space to breathe, relax, and exercise, and a great deal of spiritual drive encouraging of growth in Torah and Avodat Hashem.
